The Kidpreneur Challenge launched in 2010 and since then it has grown and evolved into Australia’s leading primary school entrepreneurship education program. We’ve worked with over 750 schools and 18,000 students delivering an educational experience like no other.
What Is The Kidpreneur Challenge?
Students in years four to six take the Challenge in their schools, to build innovation capacity, a growth mindset, creativity, confidence and resilience through this engaging program.
- 10 project modules, 1 – 2 hours per week.
- Flexible delivery to suit timetabling.
- Mapped to Australian National Curriculum 8.3 & NSW Syllabus.
- Digital Technology Framework option.
- Online Curriculum Toolkit.
- Educators deliver, no business experience required.
- Feedback and assessment tools.
How Does It Work?
Educators lead the program in school (in class or out of it), with a 10 modular program. Each module is accompanied by a lesson plan, videos and student workbook to guide the delivery of the module to the students.
Each module uses games and real world examples to educate students about all the different aspects of entrepreneurship. Students work in small business teams using what they learn from the modules to create their own micro-business, producing a product which they sell at a Market Day at the end of the Kidprenuer Challenge.
From this market day, the teams make a profit with which they repay any loans from family & friends they used to fund the business, give 30% to charity or a school fund and keep the rest for themselves.
